The Rise Of A New Dawn

So, it would seem that I have caught the "blogger bug". I don't know how and I don't know where, all i know was that it was a dear friend of my partners that started it and now I have to follow her blog religiously. I blame her for what seems to have happened to me. My world is now topsy-turvey and upside down as i'm scrambling over the keyboard to get my first blog out.

Well lets start with some of my interests and then you may know the direction most of my blogs will be headed. Firstly I am of a certain age that shouldn't really like cartoons anymore, but I adore a sponge that lives in a pineapple under the sea. You got it, it's Spongebob Squarepants (sad I know!!!!). One of my many, not quite right moments. Secondly I adore my Nan's dog? Or maybe classed as a rat, when wet! Thirdly my two godchildren. Bless their souls. 5 and 4 and cocky as anything. Oldest one a runner, and youngest one a rottweiler, or so he thinks. Fourthly, the reson for me being here today my Mum. She is a definate one of a kind, not because of all the typical Mum"sy" things that she does but all those other little things. Like at the age that I am still thinks it's alright to come into the bathroom when i'm showering and ask questions like " So, have you and Debs slept together yet" and thinks that this is Ok. Maybe it's because I am no mother but there are limits to what mother and 23 year old daughter can talk about, when 23 year old daughter is naked, in the shower, with a see through shower curtain. AAAggggghhhh memories.

There are loads of other reasons, but my most final is my Debs. She works hard!!!!!!!!!!! Doesn't really play hard, but I love her all the same. We have a brilliant relationship and all we ever seem to do is laugh, laugh and laugh some more. Sometimes, just once in a while (or a week) she will do something so amazingly stupendous that it makes my insides hurt from laughing and she just looks and me and says "what. What did I do?". Are they not the best?
